The 3 Days of Boat Racing in Phnom Penh is Coming Soon
Bon Om Touk or the Cambodian Water Festival, is a Cambodian festival celebrated in November and when the water level is height. Every town and province joins in with the festival but the biggest celebrations take place in Phnom Penh City with boat racing in front of The Royal Palace. It is also known one of the most popular event of the year after Khmer New Year. It is a good time for people to hang out with friends in the day time as well as in the night time.

ame. At night they celebrate a festival called Bandaet Pratip where illuminated boats taking to the water. Each boat represents government ministry or states. The firework blows up in the sky to make this event more exiting for all people in Phnom Penh City where about 1 million people from over the country gather together in here.
Both young and old people are excited to see the boat racing competition. When most young people are excited for the modern concert , old people also enjoy this holiday with Khmer Traditional Music Performance at the Water Festival Concert.
It is also an occasion when most people enjoy shopping. Many products will be selling in low price. The booths were designed and ready for the exhibition. This 3 days exhibition will held at the Diamond Island that is not far from where the boat racing take place.
